Women's Soccer Travels to Central Connecticut State Saturday

PHILADELPHIA- Temple women's soccer (4-3-1) travels to Central Connecticut State (3-5) for its last out-of-conference matchup of the season this Saturday, Sept. 23 with a 7 p.m. start time.

Scouting the Owls
> The Owls are led by head coach Seamus O'Connor who is in his fifth year with the program
> Â The Owls have held their opponents scoreless in their last three matches.
>  Sophomore goalkeeper Morgan Basileo has a 3-0-1 record to start the season. She now has received two American Weekly Honor Roll mentions  and now has a GAA of 0.27 for the season.
> Junior forward Kerri McGinley currently leads the team in points with eight.
> Senior forward Gabriella McKeown is now tied with McGinley for the most Owls' goals with three.
> Sophomore midfielder Emily Keitel has the team lead in assists with three.
> Senior midfielder Elana Falcone is tied with McKeown for the Owls' active lead in all-time points with 24.
> For the season, the Owls have recorded assists on 13 of their 17 goals (.765).

>Central Connecticut State has started out the season with a 3-5 record.
>The Blue Devils are led by head coach Mick D'Arcy who is in his 18th season with the program.
>Freshman midfielder Jenna Rae Covello leads the team in points with four.
>Junior goalkeeper Ashley Cavanaugh has a 3-4 record with 29 saves on the season so far.
