Philadelphia, Pa. - The Temple women's tennis team opened their season in impressive fashion with a 7-0 victory over Morgan State Friday morning. Seniors Alina Abdurakhimova and Monet Stuckey-Willis led the way for the Owls, winning their singles matches 6-3, 6-0 and 6-1, 6-1 respectively.

The Owls also took two of the three doubles matches, swept all six singles matches, and no player dropped more than four games in any set.

The team returns to action next Saturday at Princeton at 10:00 a.m.
