DiMichele Promoted to Full-Time Assistant Coach

PHILADELPHIA - Temple head coach Geoff Collins announced the promotion of Adam DiMichele as the staff's 10th full time assistant coach today. He served as the team's Offensive Quality Control / Recruiting Assistant this past season.
"We are excited to add Adam to our coaching staff as the 10th full-time assistant," said Collins. "He has been a valuable member of the Temple football family for many years and was instrumental in our transition and success in our first year on Broad Street. Adam is Temple TUFF and he understands and appreciates what it truly means from both a players and coaches perspective. He will help us continue to uphold the highest standards on the field and in the classroom within our storied football program."
The promotion of DiMichele comes after the NCAA announced last April that teams are allowed to hire 10 full time coaches beginning January 9, 2018.
DiMichele will now be Recruiting Coordinator / Offensive Assistant. He will enter his sixth year as a part of the Owls' staff. He also served as Director of Player Development (2015-16), Wide Receiver Coach (2014) and Graduate Assistant (2013). In 2014 when he previously was a full-time coach, DiMichele became the 19th former Owl to become a full-time Temple coach and the first in over 25 seasons.
The McKees Rocks, Pa., native was a starting quarterback for the Owls and was a two-time team MVP and captain in 2007 and 2008. He finished his career ranked fourth in school history (now fifth) with 5,024 passing yards, adding 40 passing touchdowns and five rushing scores. DiMichele has also spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles (2009), Calgary Stampeders (2009), Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2009), Erie Explosion (2010-11) and Philadelphia Soul (2012).
