Golf Adds Phoenix Invitational to the Fall Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Fresh off its first win of the season, Temple Golf has added the Phoenix Invitational to its fall schedule. The team will travel to Burlington, N.C. this weekend to take part in the 15-team tournament with the two-day event getting underway Monday.
Redshirt senior John Barone and senior Trey Wren, the Owls' one-two punch so far, will lead the Cherry and White . Barone finished second at the Bucknell Invitational this week, carding a school-record 134 (-6) for the 36-hole tournament. Wren placed third overall and his 137 (-3) tied for the second best 36-hole score by a Temple golfer.
Temple's win at the Bucknell Invitational was the eighth tournament title during head coach Brian Quinn's tenure with the program.
