From the Coach
> "We spoke as a group about being aggressive off the line to establish a position early in the front of the race, and I thought we did a fantastic job executing," said head coach James Snyder. "The squad moved up front and was able to hang with some very tough competition, which is a testament to the work they have put in this season. Now, we look forward to putting our best efforts forward in two weeks heading into the conference championships."

How it Happened
> Von Ehren found herself leading the Cherry and White pack for the second meet in a row, after taking the top spot for Temple at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational two weeks ago. The Krefeld, Germany native ran a smart race and led the Temple squad to a great group performance.
> The rest of the group was not far behind, as sophomore Lucy Jones finished second for Temple just six places back. Jones ran the 6,000-meter course in 22:01.1, earning her 21st overall.
> Sophomore Michelle Joyce finished just two seconds later, crossing next for the Owls with a time of 22:03.4 for a 22nd place finish out of the 222 runners in the field. Joyce had a standout performance as the number three runner for Temple, stepping up to help the Cherry and White put on a solid performance heading into the conference meet in two weeks.
> Next came senior Katie Leisher, who ran a solid race to place 25th in the field with a time of 22:12.0. Junior Millie Howard wrapped up the top five for Temple, finishing 28th overall with a time of 22:16.8 and helping the team finish strong.
