Owls Gain Valuable Experience In New York

MONTGOMERY, NY - The Temple women's cross county team ran this morning at the Jasper Fall XC Invitational hosted by Manhattan University.
Temple placed 5th out of the 12 schools that competed with a total of 146 points. The top runner for the Owls was freshman Olivia DiGateano who placed 6th, with a time of 21:40.1. Fellow freshman María Estévez-Vázquez also ran well, finishing in the top 20 with a time of 22:14.9. Army West Point was impressive, tallying 42 points, having two of their runners finish in the top 5 earning them the victory.
