Women’s Tennis Dominates in Opening Day of Temple Invite

PHILADELPHIA— Temple women's tennis had a strong showing in the first day of the Temple Invite. The team welcomed Morgan State to their home courts at the TU Pavilion for their first matchup of the tournament. The first day was comprised of a round of doubles followed by a round of singles.
Notes
> The Owls went undefeated in doubles and were nearly perfect in singles to start off the Temple Invite.
> The Temple duos of Ruoyu Chen/Chunan Xiang, Alice Patch/Stefaniya Surikova and Cecilia Castelli/Oyku Boz were strong against their Morgan State opponents, downing them 8-4, 8-4 and 8-2, respectively.
> The Owls followed their doubles performance with impressive singles play, as Chen, Oleksandra Doroshenko, Castelli, Patch and Boz each came out on top over their Morgan State opponents.
