Scouting the Owls
> Temple enters the match with an overall record of 4-7-3. They are 1-2-1 within the American, with just three conference battles remaining this season. The league win for the Cherry and White came over otherwise AAC undefeated UCF, handing the nationally recognized Knights one of just two losses this entire season on Sept. 21.
> Fernandes continues to be an offensive force for the Owls, adding three more points on Monday to extend his team-leading total to 14. He now has five goals and four assists on the year, and continues to play a vital role within the Temple offensive unit. Freshman Jalen Campbell and sophomore Justin Hahn have also contributed to the Cherry and White offense, each compiling six points from two goals and two assists apiece.
> Junior Nick Sarver was named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll this week for his tremendous efforts in Temple's 3-2 OT loss at USF last Friday. He posted a career-high three point game from his right back position, netting Temple's equalizer early in the match and assisting their other goal. Aside from leading the offense in points for the day, Sarver also played a critical role in the Temple back four that thwarted many of USF's 25 shots.
> Junior Simon Lefebvre is a constant in net for the Owls, playing 1109:51 in his 12 games between the posts this season. He has earned a goals against average of 1.22, saving 40 of the shots that have come his way.
