Women's Soccer Hosts Tulsa Thursday

PHILADELPHIA— Temple women's soccer (6-8-1, 2-3-1 AAC) returns to North Broad to host Tulsa (6-8-1, 2-4 AAC) on Thursday. The Owls will take on the Golden Hurricane at 3:30 p.m. at the Temple Sports Complex.

Promotions

The Owls
> Temple looks to improve upon their 3-3 record at the TSC. This match marks the first of the three home games for the Owls as they wrap up regular season play.
> Sophomore midfielder Emma Wilkins has been a strong offensive presence for the Owls. She has netted a team-leading six goals, which is good for 12 points on the season. Gabriela Johnson has been key on the attacking end as well, tallying five goals and one assist for 11 points.
> Junior forward Morgan Morocco leads the Owls in assists, contributing to two goals on the season. Six Owls are tied in this category, with Marissa DiGenova, Natalie Druehl, Hailey Gutowski, Emily Keitel, Johnson and Kerri McGinley notching one assist apiece.
> Junior goalkeeper Morgan Basileo has been a mainstay between the posts for the Owls, logging 1244 minutes on the season. Basileo has compiled a goals against average of 1.23 and a 0.830 save percentage through 14 matches. She has also earned a win in all five of Temple's shutouts this year.
> Last time out, the Owls fell 1-0 to the ECU Pirates on Sunday, Oct. 14. ECU found the back of the net in the 53rd minute, scoring the only goal of the match. Despite several threatening scoring opportunities for the Owls, the Pirates' goal early in the second half ended up being the game-winner.

Scouting the Golden Hurricane
> Tulsa is led by head coach Kyle Cussen, who is in his tenth season with the Golden Hurricane.
> The Golden Hurricane are 6-8-1 overall and are coming to Philadelphia riding a three-game losing streak. The squad played their most recent match on Oct. 14 against UCF and fell to the Knights 3-1.
> The offensive unit for the Golden Hurricane is led by Mia Darden and Anna Williams. The duo has scored seven goals each and leads the team with 16 and 18 points, respectively.
> Numerous players have contributed to goals this season for Tulsa. Williams and Valiree Morris have four assists on the season, while Reagan Whitlow has three. Three others are tied with two apiece.
> Goalkeeper Mica Mackay is a constant in the net for Tulsa, tallying 1235 minutes on the season. The sophomore has a goals against average of 1.68 and a save percentage of 0.753, with 70 saves.
