Druehl Named to American Weekly Honor Roll

10.22.18 | Women's Soccer

PHILADELPHIA-- Sophomore midfielder Natalie Druehl has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for her offensive efforts in two matches this past week. Temple faced the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Thursday and the No. 22 Memphis Tigers on Sunday.

Druehl is a staple of the Owls' midfield unit. She is a key facilitator for the offense and contributes heavily on the defensive end. Druehl netted her first career goal against Tulsa, which ended up being the game-winner, to propel the Owls past the Golden Hurricane 1-0. Druehl also contributed to limiting the high-powered Memphis offense that averaged 2.44 goals per game to just one in Sunday's match.

Next up, Temple will host UConn on Thursday, Oct. 25 for their final home game of the season. The Owls will take on the Huskies at 3:30 p.m. at the Temple Sports Complex.
