Football's Wright Named AAC Special Teams Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - Following the Owls' dominating 49-6 win over conference opponent ECU, WR Isaiah Wright was named the AAC Special Teams Player of the Week. Wright returned six kicks for a total of 156 yards, including one for a touchdown. He is now third in the nation in combined punt and kickoff return yards with 509 on the season.
 
QB Anthony Russo was also named to the weekly AAC Honor Roll. In his fourth career start, Russo threw for 254 yards and four touchdowns on 21-25 passing. This is the third straight week a Temple player has been given the honor.
