Football's Armstead Named AAC Offensive Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - For his dominating performance in Saturday's win over Houston, RB Ryquell Armstead has received national recognition and numerous awards. Most recently, he was named the AAC Offensive Player of the Week. Armstead carried the ball 30 times for 210 yards and a staggering 6 touchdowns to help the Owls score 59 points on the Cougars, the most against an FBS school since 2013. This is the third time this season he has received recognition from the conference for his play (Honor Roll against Tulsa and Boston College) and the first time receiving Offensive Player of the Week honors.
