Volleyball Plays Season Finale Wednesday at UConn

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple volleyball team plays its season finale at UConn on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
THE OWLS
> Temple is 7-22 overall with a 4-13 mark in the American Athletic Conference.
> Last time out, Temple split its final home series of the season, defeating Wichita State, but falling to Tulsa.
> On Friday, Temple picked up a 25-23, 25-20, 23-25, 26-24 win over the defending American champion Shockers.
> On Sunday, the Owls came up short against Tulsa, 25-17, 25-23, 25-16.
> Temple's offense is bunched with five players averaging better than 2.00 kills per set, led by sophomore Katerina Papazoglou's 2.41 kills per set.
> Junior Dana Westfield adds 2.26 kills per set with freshman Miray Bolukbasi adding 2.24 kills per frame.
> Graduate student Irem Asci adds 2.23 kills and 2.92 digs per set, while Papazoglou also helps out defensively, with 2.93 digs per set.

> Anna Petrova (2.34 k/s), Iman McGary (1.97), and Danielle Cabel (1.94 k/s) also lead the UConn attack.
