HARTFORD, Conn. -- #1 UConn downed the Temple women's basketball team, 106-45, on Sunday afternoon. The win improves UConn to 26-0 overall, 13-0 in conference play, while the Owls fall to 10-16, 2-11.

> UConn put up a big first quarter, opening the game on a 15-3 run and not looking back.
> The Huskies shot 63.6% in the first half, en route to a 54-26 halftime advantage.
> A huge third quarter (27-9) created more distance between the teams, before the Huskies finished out the win with a
> UConn shot 61.2% from the field in the game, holding Temple to just 23.8%.
INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS
> Freshman Emani Mayo led the Owls with 17 points.
> Rookie Mia Davis finished with eight points and a team-high six rebounds.
