NEW YORK - After a standout performance in the Temple lacrosse team's win at Lafayette, freshman Jen Rodzewich has been named to the BIG EAST Conference's Weekly Honor Roll.
Rodzewich has seen action in all five games so far for the Owls, but had not made her mark on the stat sheet until her breakout game on Feb. 25. She scored her first five career goals and added her first two career assists to lead Temple with seven points in the 18-15 road win. Rodzewich completed the hat trick just over 10 minutes into the game.
For the week, she totaled four ground balls and four caused turnovers, having an impact all over the field.
Next up for Temple is a home game against #7/5 James Madison at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 2.
