Toni Yuko Named to BIG EAST Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - After a career performance in the Temple lacrosse team's 1-0 week, senior attacker Toni Yuko has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll. The weekly nod is the first such award for Yuko in her career as an Owl.
She scored a career-high six goals in leading the Owls to an 18-5 win at Butler in their only game of the week on Saturday, April 14. Yuko completed the hat trick with over 12 minutes remaining in the first half, and scored on six of her eight shots on goal. She also recorded two ground balls and a caused turnover in the victory.
The Owls are back in action at home on Wednesday, April 18, hosting BIG EAST foe Vanderbilt at noon.
