Maddie Gebert Named to BIG EAST Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - After a career high performance for Temple lacrosse, sophomore midfielder Maddie Gebert has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll. For Gebert, the Owls' leading scorer, the conference recognition is the first of her career.
Gebert posted back-to-back hat tricks in a 1-1 week for the Owls, including a career-high six goals in a narrow, 14-13 loss at Villanova on April 21. She added two assists to those six goals for a career-high eight points.
Earlier in the week, Gebert scored three goals in Temple's 10-5 win vs. Vanderbilt to lead all players. For the two games, Gebert tallied three ground balls and two draw controls, and scored on nine of her 12 shots on goal.
