Volleyball Wraps Day Two at Penn State Invitational

9.1.18 | Women's Volleyball

PHILADELPHIA — The Temple volleyball team fell to a pair of Power 5 teams, closing the action at the 2018 Penn State Invitational on Saturday. The Owls fell 3-0 to Texas A&M (25-18, 26-24, 25-17) in the first match of the day before dropping a heartbreaker, 3-2, (25-21, 24-26, 25-27, 25-22, 15-9) to Indiana in the nightcap. Temple's season mark stands at 1-5.

Quotable: Head Coach Bakeer Ganesharatnam
> "I don't think we were able to execute as well as we wanted to this morning, so we made some changes for the second match. Some worked, some didn't, but we were able to talk between matches, analyze things, and put the changes in action."
> "We are leaving the tournament on a positive note. Obviously if we won, it would have been better, but we are getting there as a team and we are on the right path. I don't think we made the right decisions in some situations, but just being in those situations will help us in the long run."
