About the Owls
> Temple is 2-4-1 on the season, returning home for just the second time this year to open up conference play against UCF. The Owls have faced a grueling schedule so far in 2018, with six of their seven games on the road.
> Last weekend, the Owls played their fourth straight competition that required more than 90 minutes to decide the match. The four-game streak sets the record for most consecutive overtime games in Temple history, doubling the previous record of two in a row.
> The talent of Temple's offense is widely distributed, illustrated by eight different players contributing at least one point on the season. Freshman Jalen Campbell leads the attack with four points from one goal and two assists. The remaining goal scorers are Lukas Fernandes, Justin Hahn and Zach Brown, each scoring once this season. The array of assists have come from Campbell, Pierre Cayet, Leandros Lillis, Belal Mohamed and Andres Charles-Barrera.
> Junior goalkeeper Simon Lefebvre spearheads the Owls in net, logging a goals against average of 0.96 with a team-leading 15 saves in his 470 minutes of action on the year. Junior Michael Samnik has also seen time in goal for Temple, boasting a goals against average of .45 with nine saves in his 200 minutes on the season.

Last Time Out
> The Owls are coming off of a hard-fought contest in Pittsburgh last Sunday, when they drew a 1-1 tie against the Duquesne Dukes in their fourth straight overtime battle of the season. After an early goal by Duquesne, the Cherry and White battled relentlessly until the final whistle to notch an 86th minute equalizer to tie it up.
> The crucial comeback goal came when Fernandes made a forward run, allowing him to control the ball on the right flank. Beating his defender, he ripped a shot to the near post, slipping it right past the Duquesne goalie to put the Owls on the board just before the end of regulation.

Scouting UCF
> The Knights come to Philadelphia on the verge of a national ranking after receiving votes in the most recent United Soccer Coaches poll. They enter the match with a record of 5-1-1, their only loss coming in overtime against UC Irvine.
> The AAC preseason favorites returned 20 Knights to their 2018 roster, including five all-conference honorees.
> UCF has captured three of the four Offensive Player of the Week honors for the conference, rewarded to Cal Jennings twice and Louis Perez once.
> Jennings powers the UCF offense with nine goals and two assists for 20 points in just seven games. The 5-10 junior is one of the best forwards in the country, ranked second in the nation for game-winning goals (4), goals (1.50), points (3.33), shots (5.67), and shots on goal per game (3.67), total goals (9) and total points (20).
> Within the conference, the Knights are first in total goals, total points, total assists, shots per game, shots on goal per game, points per game, assists per game and scoring offense.

Over the Years
> The Owls enter the all-time series with a record of 1-2-2 against the Knights. UCF has the edge after defeating Temple 1-0 in 2017, thanks to a goal in the 49th minute of play. The Owls' lone win in the series came the previous year, when they knocked down the Knights, 1-0, in overtime during their final home game of the season.
