Women’s Soccer Opens Conference Play at SMU on Thursday

PHILADELPHIA — Temple women's soccer (4-5) opens up American Athletic Conference play as the team travels to SMU. The Owls will face the Mustangs on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. EST.
The Owls
> Sophomore midfielder Emma Wilkins leads the team in goals (5). Five Owls are tied in assists, with Marissa DiGenova, Hailey Gutowski, Gabriela Johnson, Kerri McGinley and Morgan Morocco contributing to one goal each.
> Goalkeeper Morgan Basileo has recorded a win in all four of Temple's shutouts. She has notched 664:59 minutes on the season, with a goals against average of 1.08 and a 0.862 save percentage.
