Football's Quincy Roche is Named AAC Defensive Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - Following a 31-17 win over conference opponent Tulsa, LB Quincy Roche was honored by the AAC with Defensive Player of the Week. Roche had 8 tackles (2.0 for a loss), 2.0 sacks and 2 forced fumbles, one of which was recovered and returned for a Temple touchdown. The defense put on a dominating performance that included 5 forced turnovers and 6 quarterback sacks. This is the second straight week that an Owl has been awarded the honor.

RB Ryquell Armstead was also named to the AAC Honor Roll for the week. Armstead had 108 rushing yards, a touchdown and recorded his first career sack on defense.
