Emma Wilkins Named to American Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA- Sophomore midfielder Emma Wilkins has been named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for her offensive efforts in two matches this past weekend.
Wilkins has proved to be a spark off the bench this season and earned a spot in the starting XI in Sunday's match. She scored the game-winning goal to power the Owls past Big Ten foe Maryland on Friday. Wilkins also kept Temple competitive against Central Connecticut State, as she netted the lone goal for the Owls. She has tallied four goals in five games, which ranks her among the top of the American in goals scored.
Next up, the Owls will travel to Lehigh to take on the Mountain Hawks on Friday, Sept. 7 at 5 p.m.
