Men’s Tennis Travels to Navy Sunday

PHILADELPHIA—Temple men's tennis (3-3, 0-0 AAC) will take on Navy (10-2, 0-0 Patriot) on Sunday, Feb. 17. The Owls will face the Midshipmen at the Tose Family Tennis Center at 12:30 p.m.
The Owls
> The team is led by head coach Steve Mauro, who is in his 13th year at the helm of the men's program.
> Temple is looking to rebound from a 4-1 loss against VCU last Sunday. The Owls started off strong, earning the doubles point with a 6-1 win from Alberto Caceres Casas/Mark Wallner and a 6-4 win from Uladzimir Dorash/Paolo Cucalon. In singles, Temple's momentum faltered. VCU won four straight singles matches to clinch the contest.
> The doubles pair of senior Alberto Caceres Casas and sophomore Mark Wallner are ranked No. 20 in the Oracle/ITA Division I Men's Rankings. They are the top-ranked doubles team in the American Athletic Conference and 6-0 on the season.
