Men's Tennis to Face VCU at Penn Sunday Night

PHILADELPHIA—Temple men's tennis (3-2, 0-0 AAC) will take on VCU (4-3, 1-0 A-10) on Sunday, Feb. 10. The Owls will face the Rams at Penn's Hecht Tennis Center at 7 p.m.
The Owls
> The team is led by head coach Steve Mauro, who is in his 13th year at the helm of the men's program.
> Temple is coming of a successful weekend, as the team went undefeated on its road trip to New York. The Owls defeated Buffalo 4-3 on Saturday, Feb. 2 and Binghamton 6-1 on Sunday, Feb. 3.
> The doubles pair of senior Alberto Caceres Casas and sophomore Mark Wallner are ranked No. 20 in the Oracle/ITA Division I Men's Rankings that were released on Wednesday, Feb. 8. The duo was previously ranked No. 23. Casas and Wallner are also the top-ranked doubles team in the American Athletic Conference.
