PHILADELPHIA - Temple football head coach Rod Carey announced the addition of Kiera Miller as director of player development. Miller joins the Temple Football staff following three years at the United States Air Force Academy.
"I can't thank Coach Carey enough for this great opportunity to join the Temple Football family," said Miller. "I enjoyed working with him and his staff at NIU and am excited to join them here. The Temple Football family called me home."
In 2018, Miller served as the associate director of development working as the Falcon Pride Club liaison for women's, basketball, men's and women's gymnastics, men's and women's tennis, and women's volleyball.
Before her stint at Air Force, Miller spent five years working with Carey and the rest of the athletics staff at NIU. Miller started as a compliance and life skills coordinator in March 2012 before being promoted to assistant athletic director for compliance and student services. She remained an assistant athletic director until her departure in 2017. Â
"I'm excited to bring Kiera here to Temple," said head coach Rod Carey. "She has a wealth of knowledge in college athletics and will help take the Temple Football program to a higher level."
Miller is a native of Chicago, Illinois, and earned her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 2009, and a master's degree in communication theory from Northern Illinois University in 2011.
