PHILADELPHIA—Temple women's tennis (10-4, 0-1 AAC) took on Hofstra on Thursday morning at the Legacy Tennis Center, defeating the Pride 6-1.

Notes
> Temple won the doubles point, coming out on top in two of the three contests. Alice Patch and Oyku Boz won in the No. 2 spot to improve to 9-3 and Kristina Titova and Stefaniya Surikova were victorious in the No. 3 spot.
> Wins from Surikova at first singles and Oleksandra Doroshenko at fourth singles gave the Owls a 3-0 advantage.
> Xiang clinched the match for the Owls, notched a win in the No. 3 spot to put Temple up, 4-0.
> Tian downed her opponent, 6-0, 6-2, at fifth singles. Hofstra won in the No. 2 spot, but Temple wrapped up the contest with a win from Cecilia Castelli in the No. 6 spot.
