Men’s Tennis Travels to Eastern Florida State to Wrap Up Regular Season

PHILADELPHIA—Temple men's tennis (13-6, 3-1 AAC) will close out its regular season slate at Eastern Florida State on Tuesday, April 16. The Owls look to notch their ninth-straight win as they take on the Titans at 2 p.m.
The Owls
> The team is led by head coach Steve Mauro, who is in his 13th year at the helm of the men's program.
> Last time out, the squad swept Fairleigh Dickinson, 7-0 in their final home match of the season. Temple earned the doubles point with wins from the pairs of Alberto Caceres Casas and Mark Wallner at first doubles and Uladzimir Dorash and Paolo Cucalon at third doubles. The Owls did not drop a set in singles. Francisco Bohorquez, Cucalon, Eric Biscoveanu, Wallner, Juan Araoz and Dorash each notched victories in singles.
> The doubles teams of Casas and Wallner and Dorash and Cucalon have been impressive for Temple. Casas and Wallner hold a 15-3 record at first doubles. Dorash and Cucalon are 12-3 on the season playing in the No. 2 and No. 3 spots.
> In singles, Wallner, Cucalon and Eric Biscoveanu have been strong, owning 15-2, 10-4 and 11-4 records, respectively. Araoz boasts an 11-6 record and Casas is 8-6, with a superb 6-1 mark in the No. 1 spot.

> Last time out, Eastern Florida State faced ASA College (Miami) on Friday, April 5. The Titans came out on top, 8-0.
