Start Times, TV Networks Revealed for Four Football Games

PHILADELPHIA – The American Athletic Conference announced the starting kickoff times for the first three weeks of the 2019 season, along with several primetime contests. Among the announcements were four of Temple's 2019 contests.
The Owls will begin the season with an ESPN3 broadcast of its opening day tilt on Saturday, August 31 at 3 pm against Bucknell at Lincoln Financial Field. Temple's next home game against Maryland, on September 14, will be aired on CBS Sports Network at noon.
Temple's two Thursday night road games against ECU (Oct. 3) and USF (Nov. 7) will kick off at 8 pm.
The Owls, under the direction of new head coach Rod Carey, are coming off four straight seasons with a winning record. Temple finished the 2018 regular season with an 8-4 record, including a 7-1 record in conference play, and the senior class finished with 35 wins, crowning them the winningest class in Temple Football history. The Owls were bowl eligible for the fifth season in a row and made a bowl appearance for the fourth straight year.
