Temple Football Announces 2026 Promotional Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Temple football announced the promotional schedule ahead of the 2026 season on Tuesday afternoon. The Owls will play host seven times next season at Lincoln Financial Field in the City of Brotherly Love.
Temple will kickoff the 2026 campaign against the Rhode Island Rams on Saturday, Sept. 5. This will serve as the team's Community Day. One week later, the Owls will welcome in-state rival Penn State to Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday, Sept. 12. Temple will honor the 2016 American Conference Championship team at this game. To close out the home slate in the month of September, the Owls will welcome the Army Black Knights on Friday, Sept. 25 for a primetime contest. The promotion for this game will be Hometown Heroes Day.
On Saturday, Oct. 10 the Owls will play host to the UConn Huskies on Homecoming. The entire week leading up to the game will be Temple University's Homecoming and Family Weekend running from Oct. 5-10. The second and final contest at Lincoln Financial Field in October will be on the 17th against the Charlotte 49ers. This will serve as Temple's Kids Day.
Senior Day will be on Saturday, Nov. 14 when Temple welcomes the UAB Blazers to Philadelphia for the first time ever. The conclusion of the 2026 home schedule will be on Thursday, Nov. 19 under the lights at the Linc against the Rice Owls. This will be Fan Appreciation Night.
All game times will be announced at a later date.
