Bridget Whitaker Named to AAC Lacrosse All-Tournament Team

CINCINNATI - Sophomore Bridget Whitaker was one of 12 named to the All-Tournament Team at the inaugural American Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Tournament. The Owls earned the third seed at the four-team tournament and lost in the semifinals to host and second-seeded Cincinnati, 13-9.
Whitaker recorded a season-high four assists for Temple while also leading the Owls with a season-high six draw controls and corralling a season-best three ground balls. She finished the season with 21 assists, just four assists away from cracking the all-time Top 10 in a single season at Temple. Her 22 caused turnovers ranked second on the team while her 34 draw controls ranked third.
Florida's Lindsey Ronbeck was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player after leading the Gators to victory in the title game with a 15-9 win over Cincinnati.
