Temple Alum Josh Fisher Named Financial Analyst for Athletics Business Office

PHILADELPHIA - Â Josh Fisher, a 2016 Temple graduate, has been hired by Senior Associate AD/Finance and Administration Tim Thiess as the Financial Analyst for the Athletics Business Office. Fisher has held jobs at Temple through his undergraduate years and in the three years since earning his degree in marketing.
"We are very excited to bring Josh back to the Temple Athletics family as our Financial Analyst," said Thiess. "He is a very driven individual with a strong financial background and he will be a valuable asset to our department."
"I am ecstatic to be joining the Athletics Business Office," said Fisher. "This position combines my love of business and athletics as I continue to grow my career at Temple. I want to thank Tim Thiess for the opportunity, and I am looking forward to working with the entire athletics staff."Â Â
From March of 2016 until transitioning into athletics, Fisher was nearby in the Business Services Office. He started as an intern, became an associate in the fall of 2016, and was promoted to Finance/Accounting Specialist at the end of that calendar year.
As an undergraduate, Fisher served as the head student manager for Temple men's basketball. He was also a Junior Phillies Club Sales Representative for three and a half years.
Fisher is working toward a master's degree in business administration at Temple, and expects to graduate in June, 2020.
