Hailey Gutowski Earns Spot on American Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA– The American Athletic Conference announced its weekly awards on Monday afternoon and sophomore midfielder Hailey Gutowski earned a spot on the Weekly Honor Roll for her offensive contributions for the Owls in their matches againt Wagner and Penn.
Gutowski has been a formidable offensive force for the Cherry and White, as she was involved in a Temple goal in both of the team's contests this past week. The Cinnaminson, N.J. native scored her second goal of the season against Wagner on Wednesday and notched an assist at Penn on Sunday. She earned three points (1g, 1a) this week, bringing her season total to six. This ties her at the top of Temple's point list with teammate Gabriela Johnson.
Next up, Temple will open up its conference slate on Thursday, Sept. 26 as it hosts Cincinnati at the Temple Sports Complex. The contest between the Owls and the Bearcats will kick off at 7 p.m.
