Men's Basketball Upsets #16 Wichita State

PHILADELPHIA - Snapping its three-game losing streak, the Temple men's basketball team upset No. 16 Wichita State 65-53 in a Wednesday night thriller. With the win, the Owls improve to 10-6 (2-3 AAC) and the Shockers fall to 15-2 (3-1 AAC).
Aaron McKie becomes the first first-year head coach to win against a ranked team since Harry Litwack in 1952-53. The win marks 13 straight seasons that the Owls have earned a win over a ranked team.
Game Summary
> Temple held the Shockers to their lowest-scoring game of the season, with their previous lowest-scoring game (63 points) being a loss to West Virginia.
