DALLAS – Fresh off extending its streak of wins over a ranked team to 13 seasons with a victory over #16 Wichita State, Temple men's basketball takes to the road for a game at SMU Saturday (8 pm (ET)/ESPNU/1210 AM WPHT).  The Owls (10-6, 2-3 AAC) will be looking to extend its win streak over the Mustangs (12-4, 2-2 AAC) and post just its second win in one of the toughest venues in the conference, Moody Coliseum.

> Junior De'Vondre Perry (6.9 ppg), who ranks fourth in the AAC in three-point percentage (.422), redshirt junior Monty Scott (5.5 ppg) and freshman Josh Pierre-Louis (4.7 ppg) have provided the most impact from the Owls' deep bench.

> Davis is also leading the league in assists (7.1, 10th NCAA) and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.7, 22nd NCAA). Mike and Davis share the league lead in free-throw percentage at 88.9%.
> SMU, which has lost its last two games, enters the contest leading the conference in field goal percentage (46.5%), free-throw percentage (77.6, 9th NCAA), assists (16.6, 21st NCAA) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.3, 30th NCAA).

SERIES HISTORY
> Temple and SMU are meeting for the 13th time with each team winning six games.
> The teams have only met once in each of the last two seasons with the Owls winning both, 82-74 in Philadelphia (2/13/19) and 66-64 in Dallas (1/10/18).  That was Temple's lone win at Moody Coliseum.
> The Mustangs swept Temple in 2017-18, winning 79-65 in Dallas on Jan. 4 and defeating the Owls 66-50 in Philadelphia on Feb. 9.
> The Owls were the first team to defeat SMU in 2015-16 after an 18-0 start for the #8 Mustangs. Temple pulled off the upset at home on Jan. 24, winning 89-80. It was the only meeting between the two teams that season.
> Prior to meeting as American opponents in 2013-14, the most recent meeting was in 1955-56 when the Owls beat the Mustangs 90-81 in the NCAA Final Four third-place game.
> The first meeting between the teams was in 1937-38, with Temple earning a 53-41 win at the Philadelphia Arena.
