Golf Announces Spring Schedule

PHILADELPHIA - Head coach Brian Quinn has announced the five tournaments that his Temple Golf team will participate in during the 2020 spring schedule.Â
"We feel this is a tremendous schedule to prepare our young men for the highly-competitive American Athletic Conference Championship," said Quinn. "We are expecting to add another tournament in March or April to complete our slate."
For the second straight year the spring season will open at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate on Feb. 24-25. The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be held at the Wexford Plantation Course.
The Owls will again compete at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate (Mar. 9-10), marking the fourth straight year at the tournament held the Palmetto Golf Club in Aiken, S.C.
One week later, Temple heads to North Carolina to compete in the ECU Intercollegiate on March 16-17. It marks the first time the Owls will take part in this event held at Brook Valley.
The final two regular season events have Temple staying close to home. First the Owls will take part in the Wildcat Invitational (Apr. 6-7), held at the White Manor Country Club in Malvern, and then four days later the team travels to New Jersey for the Princeton Invitational (Apr. 11-12), held at the Springdale Golf Club.
The 2020 American Athletic Conference Championship will once again be held at the par-71, 7,125-yard Copperhead Course at the Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Fla. from April 26-28.
