Williamson Named Big 5 Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA – Junior Alexa Williamson was named the Philadelphia Big 5 Women's Basketball Player of the Week. This marks the first Big 5 honor for the Owls this season.Â
Williamson scored a career-best 20 points in the 69-52 win over Tulsa on Dec. 23, shooting 72.7% (8-11) from the floor. The forward added five rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block over her 27 minutes of action with just one turnover. Williamson is averaging 10.2 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, ranking second in both categories for the Owls.Â
