Whitaker Earns AAC Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA - For the second week in a row, Temple lacrosse has earned a spot on the AAC Weekly Honor Roll. Junior Bridget Whitaker is the second Owl to get the nod, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.Â
Whitaker leads the team with seven goals this season, scoring four against No. 5 Princeton Saturday afternoon. Of the 11 shots she's fired this season, 10 have been on target for a .909 shots on goal percentage.
The Springfield, Pa. native has also picked up four ground balls, seven draw controls, and one caused turnover.
The Owls will be back in action Wednesday afternoon, hosting Saint Joseph's for Big 5 play.
