Lacrosse Hosts Saint Joseph's for Big 5 Action

PHILADELPHIA - Coming off two tough losses last week, the Temple lacrosse team is set to host Saint Joseph's for the fourth of a six-game homestand Wednesday at 3 p.m. The Owls are 1-2 on the season, with their losses to Rutgers and No. 5 Princeton each being decided by just two goals.
Scouting Temple
> The Temple offense has been explosive, with freshman Riley McGowan scoring five goals against #5 Princeton to total six on the season. Senior Bridget Whitaker is tied for first on the team with six goals with McGowan and Jen Rodzewich.
> Five Owls have scored hat tricks so far this season, with Whitaker, Rodzewich, Maddie Gebert, and Olivia Thompson rounding out the list.
> Senior Courtney Taylor leads the team with eight ground balls, while freshman Belle Mastropietro sitting in second with seven.
