Davis Named to AAC Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA – Junior forward Mia Davis was named to the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll after collecting after leading the Owls' to a 1-1 week.
The honor roll recognition marks the seventh for Davis this season and the 11th for Temple women's basketball.
Davis averaged 18.0 points and 10.5 rebounds over a 1-1 week for Temple. The junior finished the two-game stretch shooting 54.8% from the floor. She added 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game. In the win over Memphis, the Owls' captain led all players with a game-high 23 points. Davis registered her 15th double-double of the year with 13 points and 13 rebounds in the loss at ECU.
Up next, the Owls travel to UCF on Wednesday, Feb. 26 for a 6 p.m. tip-off.
