Whitaker Earns Second-Straight AAC Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA - For the second week in a row, junior Bridget Whitaker earned an AAC Weekly Honor Roll nod. This is the third consecutive week that the lacrosse team has earned the honor, with Olivia Thompson receiving the nod after the first weekend of competition.
Whitaker netted four goals last week, with three coming against Coastal Carolina, and fired six shots with five on target. The Springfield, Pa. native also picked up 11 draw controls, three caused turnovers, and three ground balls.
She currently ranks first on the team with 10 goals this season, and third with 18 draw controls.
The Owls will return to the field Tuesday afternoon against La Salle, closing out their six-game homestand at 3 p.m.
