Mackins Named to AAC Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA – Sophomore guard Marissa Mackins earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season after leading the Owls in the win over UCF on Jan. 29.
Mackins registered 22 points to lead all players as Temple topped the Knights 67-65 at McGonigle Hall. The sophomore knocked down five three-pointers as she shot 46% from the field (7-15). Mackins tied for a game-high five assists while adding four rebounds and one steal.
The Owls will face Wichita State on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. as they look to claim their sixth conference win of the season.
