In the book of your life, what’s the title of the Temple chapter? In the book of my life, the title of the Temple chapter would be "Time of Our Lives"

What’s the best part about being a member of the tennis team at Temple/what will you miss the most? Tennis is an individual sport and it can be lonely at times. When traveling for tournaments around the world before coming to the U.S., sometimes you would have to travel alone to cut expenses, and I would find myself far away from my family and friends, sometimes for 10-12 weeks straight. Being part of this team is being part of a family, where all of us have formed a bond that will last throughout and after our college careers. The thing I will miss the most is traveling as a group, getting to visit new places around the country, while creating memorable experiences.

What is your favorite memory of being a student-athlete at Temple? The two conference tournaments I got to play and be a part of during my time at Temple. Even though it is a week of pressure because everyone needs to be playing at their best, I was fortunate enough to live some of the most enjoyable moments. My birthday would always be during this tournament and having the opportunity to play and win as a team made these moments more special.

If you could give advice to your freshman year self, what would it be? I would tell myself to enjoy every day like it was your last day in college. Besides the growth we make as humans that goes unnoticed, you will look back to these four years and be grateful for the opportunity you had to be a student-athlete at Temple. Our senior season was cut short due to an unpredictable event, so try to enjoy every single moment as much as you can. It is not just a cliche.

Where do you see yourself in five years? In five years, I see myself successfully working in the insurance/financial industry, working up my ladder to a managerial position in a multi-national corporation while learning/entering the real estate business.

I would like to thank my family, my friends both at Temple and back home, my amazing team and coaching staff, and Jquan.Juan Araoz, Temple Men's Tennis Class of 2020
