Lacrosse Downs Lions in First Road Win

NEW YORK - The Temple lacrosse team earned a 15-12 defeat of Columbia to open its road slate Wednesday afternoon, extending its win-streak to three. With the win, the Owls improve to 4-3 while the Lions fall to 0-5.
Recapping the Game
> The game started close as the Owls jumped out to 2-0 and the Lions quickly evened the score.
> Temple would score three-straight to retake the lead, with freshmen Belle Mastropietro and Charessa Crosse each netting one.
> Columbia responded with two of the next three, before the Owls scored a pair of goals to take their largest lead of the half (8-4).
> The Lions scored the final three of the half, but Temple scored the first three of the second half to go up 11-7.
> Columbia tied the game at 11 with four-straight, and the teams would each trade a goal to once again tie the score.
