Women's Lacrosse Tops UMBC for Fourth Straight Victory

PHILADELPHIA - Temple lacrosse notched its fourth-straight win with a 10-7 victory over UMBC Saturday afternoon. The Owls' record improves to 5-3 while the Retrievers drop to 2-3.
Recapping the Game
> UMBC struck first, scoring two goals in within the first four minutes before a pair of unassisted goals by Meghan Hoffman and Belle Mastropietro leveled the game at 2-2.
> The Retrievers would regain the lead briefly from a free position shot, only for the Owls to tie it back three minutes later. UMBC would respond with two more goals with four minutes left in the half.Â
