Temple Football Mourns the Loss of Zaire Williams

PHILADELPHIA – Temple University Athletics mourns the passing of Zaire Williams who was an Owls' running back in 2013-14. Memorial services for Williams will be held Tuesday March 10, at the World Christian Center, located at 2901 Chapel Avenue W Cherry Hill, N.J. 08002. Viewing will be at 10am and service will be at 12pm.
Williams, a Sicklerville, New Jersey, native played football at Timber Creek High before bringing his talents to Temple. As a freshman, he had one of the most productive seasons on the ground a first year player had ever had at Temple. In, 2013 he played in 11 games and rushed for 533 yards and three touchdowns. Williams was injured in 2014 and was sidelined for the majority of the season. Williams then decided to transfer to the University of Maine.
