- "Today was a nice chance to see the course that we will be racing at  six weeks from now for regionals. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed in where we finished today.   It seemed some of the guys didn't handle the big field as well as we thought we would."
- "This was the first big stage for me to show that I can perform at this level, and I think my performance today backed that up. I think a lot of our guys might be disappointed in their times today, but I hope to lead by example and help the group achieve the performances they deserve with upcoming races," said Arthur.
- Arthur led the Owls with a top-25 finish and a time of 23.54.5 minutes.
- Temple saw Christian Fitch place in the top-100 with a time of 24.43.5 minutes.
- 40 schools competed on Friday morning and Temple finished in the top half of the pack with a 19th place finish.
- The Owls were without freshman runners Tyler Fauvelle and Erik Kain due to injuries.
- North Carolina picked up the 1st place spot with Villanova and Princeton rounding out the top 3 in the men's 8k race.
- The Owls will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 16, when they travel to Princeton, N.J. to compete in the Princeton Invite.
