Men’s Soccer Ready to Face No. 8 Tulsa

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple men's soccer team is set to travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to face the No. 8 ranked Tulsa Golden Hurricane. This will be the second time Temple has faced a top-ten ranked opponent this season after opening the season against No. 10 Seton Hall.

> Goalkeeper Liam Cummings has truly come into his own recently for the Cherry and White. The sophomore had his first career clean sheet against the Princeton Tigers last week, making eight saves. He has faced 14 shots on goal last week, making 11 saves.

> The Golden Hurricane are having a fantastic season. They are currently 9-1 and ranked No. 8 in the country in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.
> Tulsa was undefeated until last week, where they fell to UCF 3-2 in its first loss of the season.
> Alex Meinhard and Malik Henry-Scott have been among the best players in the country this season. Both have scored seven goals this season, ranking in the top 20 in goals per game nationally.
> Goalkeeper Alex Lopez has also impressed. The keeper ranks second among goalkeepers in the conference in save percentage (.771) and total saves (27).
> Tom McIntosh leads the Golden Hurricane in his 27th season. McIntosh has a career record of 269-187-54, he is the longest-tenured men's soccer coach in the American. He has taken Tulsa to ten NCAA tournaments in his career, most recently in 2016.
