PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's tennis competed at ITA Regionals from Oct. 1-3 at the nearby University of Pennsylvania this past weekend. Temple was represented by the doubles pairings of Jamie Wei and Veronika Kulhava, Stefaniya Surikova and Yining Tian, Vineetha Mummadi and Rine Nozaki and Evie Wei and Sena Takebe. In addition, Nozaki, Takebe, Kulhava, J. Wei, Mummadi and E. Wei all competed in singles matches throughout the weekend.

> The weekend was highlighted by stellar performances from Surikova, Tian, J. Wei, Kulhava and Mummadi. The doubles pair of Surikova/Tian and J. Wei/Kulhava advanced to the doubles quarterfinals on Sunday out of 128 doubles pairs on the weekend. J. Wei also advanced in singles play, where she joined teammate Mummadi, each reaching the round of 16.
