Temple to Host No. 8 Tulsa for Senior Day

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple men's soccer team (2-10-2) will host their highest ranked opponent of the season Sunday in the No. 8 Tulsa Golden Hurricane (11-1-1) Sunday at 7 pm. The Owls will honor five seniors in their final home match.Â

> Temple dropped a road match to the Memphis Tigers on a rainy Wednesday night.
> Kyle Hellmann scored his first goal with the Owls while Tessho Kobayashi passed for his first career assist.
> Keeper Goodwill Agbaadem made a penalty kick save in final few minutes of the match to keep the score in striking distance.

> Kyle Hellmann continues to hold his lead in shots with 14. He is now tied with Mike Eijgendaal for the lead in shots on goal (7).

> Alex Meinhard has been one of the best players in college soccer this season. He is currently tied for the national lead in goals per game. Goalkeeper Alex Lopez has also starred in goal, he lead the AAC in goals against average and save percentage.
> Tom McIntosh leads the Golden Hurricane in his 27th season. McIntosh has a career record of 271-187-55, he is the longest-tenured men's soccer coach in the American. He has taken Tulsa to ten NCAA tournaments in his career, most recently in 2016.
