Owls in the NFL - Week 4

Week four in the NFL provided three matchups of Owls facing Owls. The Temple alums also had something to do with a special homecoming weekend.
Dion Dawkins (2013-16) and Tyler Matakevich (2012-15) traveled to Houston to take on Jacob Martin (2014-17) and the Texans. Buffalo whipped the Texans 40-0 while Matakevich made his first career interception and contributed four tackles. Martin had one stop in the loss.
Tavon Young (2012-15) and the Baltimore Ravens traveled to Denver to take on the 3-0 Broncos with Brandon McManus (2009-12) and Nate Hairston (2012-16). Young and his mates won convincingly, 23-7. Young had one tackle while McManus converted on his only PAT.
Matt Ioannidis (2012-15) and the Washington Football Team squared off against Matt Hennessy (2016-19) and his Atlanta Falcons. Ioannidis contributed four tackles in the 34-30 last-minute victory.
Bruce Arians (1983-88) and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers staff traveled to New England in the marquee game of the week. The Sunday night battle showcased Tom Brady 's Gillette Stadium homecoming and he and the Bucs returned home with a 19-17 win.
Matt Rhule (2013-16) and his Carolina Panthers invaded Texas and battled to the end against the Cowboys. The 36-28 defeat saw Robby Anderson (2011-13, 2015) catch five passes for 46 yards. On the other side of the ball, Sean Chandler (2014-17) led all defenders with eight tackles, Sam Franklin (2016-19) recorded his first NFL interception to go along with three stops, and Haason Reddick (2012-16) added three tackles.
Minnesota Vikings Harrison Hand (2019) returned to the lineup and had one tackle in a 14-7 loss to the Browns.
Michael Dogbe (2014-18) and his Arizona Cardinals traveled to Los Angeles in a battle of undefeated teams and became the first NFL team to go 4-0 this season.
